Standing Committees
Ways & Means Committee – Chairman - attend to the procurement of funds for the operation of the Council. All fund raising efforts and/or events shall have prior approval of the Council. To contact click here.
Election Committee - Chairman - responsible for the timely and proper annual election of Council members. Karen has signed up to help.
Budget Committee - Chairwoman - responsible for setting the Council Budget. This committee will present a proposed budget for the new fiscal year to the Council before the completion of the current fiscal year ( Jan. 1 – Dec.31) To contact click here.
2005 Committees
4 th of July Committee - Chairman - responsible for soliciting funds and getting appropriate permits as well as coordinating scheduling times, event equipment, materials needed, etc. between Event Staff and Fire Dept. Staff. Fire Department will provide support for this event. Bob will take care of permits & Licenses. To contact click here.
Bingo Committee - Chairwoman - responsible for soliciting funds and appropriate permits as well as coordinating scheduling times, event equipment, materials and staffing needed for this weekly event. Elementary School cafeteria is the proposed site for this event. To contact click here.
Website Committee - Chairman, none - responsible for website layout/design/graphics as well as information and article updating. Sub-committees include: content/articles, data entry, material archiving.
Newsletter Committee - Chairwoman, - responsible for layout/design as well as, printing and distribution. This is a proposed monthly mailing if funds are available. Sub-committees include: content/articles, assembly, data entry/scanning. Sub-committee includes advertisement solicitations.
Fund Raising Committee - Chairman - responsible for soliciting for funds for council special events. Sub-committees include: trail ride event, bake sale, craft sale, and Community yard sale. To contact click here.
Community Participation - - responsible for public notice posting of meetings and events and getting the community involved.
Fire Dept. Fund Raising Committee – Chairwoman - responsible for soliciting funds for new defribulator for Fire Department. To contact click here.
Sheriff Patrol Committee - Chairman - responsible for keeping up to date with Sheriff patrols, when, where, how many, etc.. Bob will help with researching, etc. To contact click here.
Education Committee - Chairwoman - responsible for Unified School District &Other School updates and upcoming events & community road watch. To contact click here.
Planning & Zoning Committee - Chairwoman, - responsible for attending Planning & Zoning meetings at county and reporting updated information to the community. Sub-committees include: Belmont Development, Odom Farms Development, Tonopah Verde Development, Sierra Negra Development, Arlington 2020 Plan.
